Gracie

40" x 52"

Gracie fell asleep in her favorite sunny spot and never woke up due to a fire that consumed the entire house. She likely died from smoke inhalation at 13 years old. This quilt records her final resting place which was a sacred, beautiful record of her final resting place. Hand drawn and painted wood grain with hand painted and sprayed back ground. Hand dyed and resisted backing fabric.
